As a health and fitness author, she co-authored Trimester / Maternity Moments and Alternative 101: A Complement to Your Family's Health Care, both books published by Marshall Educational Health Solutions, Inc. She is also widely published in trade journals including IDEA Health and Fitness Source, American Fitness, Personal Trainer, and IDEA Fitness Manager. Her consumer magazine writing includes contributions to REAL and STRIVE magazines.
For many years, Diane was an official speaker for the United Way of Orange County, the National Alliance For the Mentally Ill Orange County, Synergy Executive Education, and The John Henry Foundation. In 1996, she served as the Media Relations Advisor to the Tina Laine California congressional campaign, and in 1984 she had the unique experience of working on the presidential campaign in Washington, DC. In 1980, Diane was the recipient of an "Outstanding Young Careerist" award from the Business and Professional Women's Club of the city of Dallas. In 1973, she competed in the Miss Arizona Pageant, a Miss America subsidiary. |
